  • I believe this is also such a difficult topic to address since, as they point out, the people doing this self-harm have such varied outcomes. I'm now 22. I began cutting myself when I was 15 and did it for several years.

  • I'll admit, I thought Kesha had some catchy (albeit dumb) songs, but was proof that IQ has nothing to do with getting famous. However, this interveiwer actually managed to capture the fact that regardless of intellect or tact, she is also a person, and does have some substance under the glitter.

  • uh, yea skrekk, this study IS the "statistics" you cite that back that hypothesis up. Number one rule, you cannot assume anything. Just as trials were done before anyone asserted that treating herpes could reduce the likelihood of transmission, studies must be conducted on HIV meds/treatment, too.

  • I think people are getting a little confused on "discrimination". For the vast majority of overweight people, losing weight IS possible and IS healthy and IS the right choice.

  • speaking as a 21 year old with more experience than was truly necessary... Alcohol very nearly ruined/took my life. I ended up in the hospital and borderline failing out of college my freshman year due to drinking.
